English assessment

Great communication is as critical as great code, and English is a global language for distributed teams.


For the English assessment, we are partnering up with SmallTalk2Me. The format is a 15-20 minutes speech-based test that evaluates your communication skills.

How to take the assessment
  • Click Start assessment in your dashboard
  • Make sure your microphone works and you’re in a quiet space
  • Use a stable internet connection
  • Allow microphone access when prompted
  • Follow the spoken prompts and answer naturally
  • You have 3 days to complete the English assessment 
  • We will let you know within 48 hours if you progress to the next step
