From application to engagement: how Proxify staffing works

Learn how the Proxify staffing process works, from applying to opportunities to client matching and engagement confirmation.

📌 Understanding the staffing process

At Proxify, we aim to make the application and staffing process as transparent and straightforward as possible. The process is designed to help you find opportunities that match your skills and move through the hiring journey efficiently.

The staffing journey typically includes four main steps:

  1. Application
Apply to a role that matches your skills through your Proxify dashboard.
  2. Matching meeting
If your profile aligns with the opportunity, a Client Manager will schedule a short meeting to learn more about your experience and provide additional context about the role.
  3. Profile sent to client
Your profile is shared with the client for review and consideration.
  4. Meet & greet
If the client is interested, you’ll join an introductory meeting. If everything goes well, the engagement can move toward a confirmed start date.

📝 Application process

🤔 How do I apply to positions? How does it work?

💡 Go to the Opportunities tab in your dashboard.

To apply:

  • Click Apply Now
  • Write a short application pitch in the chat window

The Client Manager responsible for the opportunity will receive your application.

🤔 How do I write an application pitch?

💡 Keep your pitch short, relevant, and personalized.

A strong pitch usually:

  • Introduces who you are
  • Responds directly to the job description
  • Highlights relevant strengths and experience
  • Mentions similar technologies or projects

💡 Tip: Aim for one concise paragraph instead of a long introduction.

🤔 Why can’t I apply to some roles?

💡 Some opportunities require skills that are not currently listed in your profile.

To be eligible:

  • Check the Main Expertise section of the role
  • Make sure those skills are listed as Advanced or Expert in your profile

🤔 Can I apply to multiple jobs at the same time?

💡 Yes. You’re welcome to apply to multiple opportunities simultaneously.

🤔 What happens after I apply?

💡 Your application is reviewed by the assigned Client Manager. If your profile is a strong fit, they’ll contact you directly to continue the process.

🤔 How long does it take to get an engagement?

💡 Timelines vary depending on:

  • The opportunity
  • Client response time
  • The number of applicants

☝️ Some processes move quickly, while others may take longer depending on client availability and hiring needs.

🤔 Why did the opportunity I applied for disappear?

💡 If an opportunity is no longer visible, it may have been:

  • Filled
  • Paused
  • Closed by the Client Manager

🔄 Post-application steps

🤔 How long does it take to hear back after applying?

💡 Response times vary depending on the client and the stage of the hiring process. If you’re shortlisted, a Client Manager will usually contact you through:

  • Slack
  • Email

🤔 I don’t see any updates in my application timeline. What does that mean?

💡 This usually means the review process is still ongoing.

If your application progresses, you’ll receive a notification.

🤔 Can I reach out directly to the Client Manager?

💡 Client Managers communicate directly when your profile is being considered for an opportunity. If you need updates, your Support Manager can help follow up on your behalf.
